Tether is a word puzzle game developed by MindMythos ("we", "us", "our"). We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information the Tether app does and does not handle.
We do not collect any personal information about you ourselves. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no tracking or analytics that we operate. Your game progress stays on your device.
Tether does use Google Play's billing system, together with Unity's in-app purchase toolkit, so that we can sell optional coin packs. Those systems collect a device identifier and purchase information. This is described in full below.
Your game data – such as your coins, statistics, daily streaks, and settings – is saved only on your own device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see it.
Tether offers optional in-app purchases (coin packs). To provide these, the app includes the Unity in-app purchasing toolkit, which works together with Google Play.
Unity's toolkit collects a device identifier, along with purchase information and basic app diagnostics such as crash and performance data, and sends this to Unity. Unity uses it to process purchases and to produce anonymous statistics. This collection is a built-in part of the purchasing toolkit and cannot be switched off while the app offers in-app purchases. It starts when the app opens, whether or not you ever buy anything.
This information is not linked to your name, is not used to build an advertising profile, and is not sold or shared with advertisers. You can read Unity's privacy policy for more detail.
Payments themselves are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details, such as card numbers. Your purchases are also covered by Google's Privacy Policy.
Tether contains no advertising. We do not include any advertising network or marketing tracking service. The app does not request the Android advertising ID permission, so no advertising ID is available to it.
Tether is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
The app uses only the permissions needed to run and to offer Google Play in-app billing. It does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, photos, microphone, or files.
Because all of your game data stays on your device, you are in full control of it. You can remove it at any time by clearing the app's data in your device settings, or by uninstalling the app. We hold no personal data about you on any server, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. For data held by Unity or Google Play in connection with purchases, please contact those companies using the privacy policies linked above.
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with an updated date above.
